Unless you're from Austin, TX, chances are you've never heard of Elizabeth Mcqueen & The Firebrands. With a sound somewhere between Patsy Cline and roots rock, this debut album by McQueen & the Firebrands shows a great deal of promise. McQueen has a great voice, the band is tight, and they've created a sound that is distinctively their own.
