It's nice to find a self help book that address fitness over weight. Easy to read, easy to follow because it eases you into a healthier lifestyle. Having been thin all my life it was always assumed that I was fit. Nothing could have been further from the truth. I'm a bit heavier now but far more fit than I've ever been! My favorite quote "You have gotten where you are under your own power. Understanding allows you to move forward with that same power"

As an avid weightlifter who has struggled with weight and eating issues from the past, this book has put "being healthy" into perspective. The book explains what a healthy lifestyle is and how to start reaching that lifestyle without throwing yourself at the mercy of a gym. This book is great for beginners and avid fitness gurus.

I am so happy I ordered FRESH OFF THE COUCH .... Over the past twenty years and twenty pounds I have bought ALL of the videos, books, programs and "subscriptions" out there.. . so I consider myself a "diet expert". You name it, I have tried it. All with three easy payments...

Every attempt has left me with guilt for not reaching the results they promised.. If Madonna can look like "that" so can I ? Right? What did I do wrong and more importantly.. why did I QUIT ? Shame on me-- and now, I have 2 1/2 payments left.

This small booked is packed with practical information -- which helped me to "forgive myself" .. one step at a time. I am not going to run a marathon, but I am going to walk five miles today.
