This album proved to be all that I had hoped for. I really like George Strait and I am something of a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas music. With this album you get the best of both. While Strait clearly puts his style into the performance it remains clear that he had a great deal of respect for the classic nature of the selections. The vocals seem very natural and unforced and the melody is what you expect. It's all George with just enough Country to make it interesting.

You can only get this as a new cd at a Gold Crown Hallmark store...so it was 100% worth the trip! I fell in love with the songs as I was shopping in the store..I was skeptical at first...thinking it was hard to beat his very 1st Christmas cd...but this one is GREAT!! Don't hesitate..buy it...full of traditional songs...and all with the George Strait magic!
