Like the store, this is an utterly fantastic cookbook. It's spiral bound so it lays flat. The spiral is housed in a smooth notebook-like binding. There's a handy measurement conversion table on the inner cover. I like seafood,and am particularly fond of their Crab Cakes as the recipe does not call for drenching them in butter fat. They come out fluffy.The Pumpkin Mushroom Soup is very creamy and easy to make. I use real pumpkin with the help of my food processor. Other recipes I've tried and liked include the Lemony Squash Soup, Harvest Squash and Zuchini Soup, Waldorf Salad with Dried Cherries, Soy-ginger Sauce, Cucumber Yogurt Sauce, Broccoli Slaw Salad, Lemony French Salad Dressing, and Sun-dried Tomato Sauce. The recipes are easy to make and most are outstanding. I have a good many cookbooks, and this is one of my favorites. |
