WOW! For a real spa treat in your own home, pick up a jar of "Fresh Rose Face Mask." This is a rejuvenating mask with hydrating and toning action that leaves the skin relaxed and glowing. I use this on my face, neck and hands and it works wonders, especially during the dry winter months when heating can really do a number on your skin.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not for all skin types
I typically have pretty healthy nice looking skin and hardly ever break out. After using this product once, I woke up with a red face and mini zits all over my forehead. It leaves a weird film on you face after rinsing with very hot water that I had to wash with soap again to get the film off. I normally like Fresh products but this one SUCKED..$$$ down the drain.

When you open the jar, the beautiful fragrance of roses wafts out and the smell is just lovely and so soothing to the senses. There are actually hundreds of rose petals infused in the mask that melt into the skin when applied to the face, and help to retain moisture and tighten pores. Pure cucumber extract cools and combines with the moisturizing and nourishing qualities of precious rose oil and rose flower water. "Fresh Rose Face Mask" is enriched with stimulating seawater and porphyridium cruentum, a micro-algae complex that also helps the skin retain moisture. Soothing extracts of chamomile, calendula and aloe to calm the skin and maintain a radiant complexion are also added.

This mask is recommended for all skin types. My skin tends to be dry, especially during the winter, and this works just fine. Dermatologist tested. This is one of my favorite skincare products.

5.0 out of 5 stars Luscious, rejuvenating mask, November 7, 2009
This review is from: Fresh Rose Face Mask (Misc.)
I have very particular skin. It is fairly uncomplicated during the summer but a mess during the winter, with the dry mountain air of Colorado and the hyper-dry that home heating adds to that. It took me a while to find a good combination of products to address the winter cycle, but this mask is now No. 1 on the list. I use it once a week in a combination with one other mask, and my skin feels as though I've just had a hydrating facial. It leaves my skin feeling smooth to the touch and completely clean. I've never has any experience with residue (although I do remove it with warm water and a washcloth). In addition to how well it works, there are two other fabulous things about it: open the jar and you are delivered the perfect scent of roses, not overpowering, just perfect, and the mask itself has rose petals in it that literally dissolve when you apply it to your face. It feels completely decadent. I think it's worth every penny, and one jar will last a very long time if you are deliberate in your application.

For those of you who are looking for the all-skin-types mask, though, this may not be for you. It is specifically billed as a hydrating mask. In fact, the ingredients include 50% pure rose floral water, cucumber extract, rose oil, aloe vera, and porphyridium cruentum, a "smart" algae that purportedly seeks out places on your skin that need moisture the most. That doesn't sound very all-skin-types to me so maybe find a different one. But, that being said, I also use this product during the summer when my skin normal on the dry-to-oily scale, and I still love it. I just don't use it as much as I do in the winter.
