I went striclty on the reviews for this one. I wanted a new 'scent' for Christmas and did NOT want to beat through crowds just to smell different perfumes at the department store, so I got to reading reviews. I am SO glad that I picked this one out. I have never smelled anything like this before. I don't know anything about 'notes' or 'top notes' or whatever when it comes to perfumes, so in lamen's terms...the first thing that hits me when I smell of this is a warm spicy scent immediately followed by a sweet almost cranberry-like scent. It's very unique and warm and I cannot get enough of it.

This is one of the few fragrances that I have worn where I have had both men and women stop me on the street to ask what I was wearing.

Very different, not overpowering and my new favorite!

When testing scents using testing strips, there are many fragrances that smell great. However, there are very few that actually match my body chemistry and smell good on me. Sake by Fresh is one of the few that works for me. The base notes linger, but are very subtle. A spritz on the wrist and a spritz on the hair is all I need for a day.

I had thought that I had finally completed my scent wardrobe with a scent wardrobe of two, and then I smelled this one. So light and green, without all the weighty nonsence that usually overpowers scents like this. In A word...Perfect.

I tried both the foaming bath and the EdP. It's quite lovely and fresh! The peach really comes through for me, and it is sweet but not overly so. Somehow it reminds me of light Burberry Woman (original). If you like peaches, Tresor, Burberry or John Varvatos, this is a must try.

I am close to putting this on my want list. However, I want to sample this again before coming to a final decision. ;)

I've gone through 2 bottles of this already. I've loved it since it came out. I used to use Muki, but that was discontinued unfortunately. This is the next best thing. It's a very unique scent; I can't really describe it. I prefer scents that are a little on the bitter side because I'm north of 50 years. I don't want to smell like cotton candy or cake batter or cinnamon buns. I would say that this is a fairly sophisticated scent.

I've been a Fresh customer for years and like many of their products. I purchased a tester of Fresh Sake eau de Parfum to try before I bought it full-size. I'd heard a very favorable review of this new scent on NPR.

So glad I just bought a small tester. On me, this stuff smells like a ghastly combination of cat pee and "eau du homeless person" funk. And, boy, is it every persistent - I had to scrub like crazy to get it off. But scrub I did, because I WANTED IT OFF.

Body chemistry and personal taste differ, and I see there are all favorable reviews here, so clearly mine's the minority opinion.

I would simply urge you to try before you buy - try a spritz in a department store or in one of the Fresh outlets, or buy a tester online. I'm sure glad I didn't pay for a full-size bottle of this stuff!

Yes, it's the one I wear all the time now, the one I hope people identify with me. Whenever I wear it, people stop me to ask me what I am wearing. I've had people stop me on the street to ask me what it was.
