Fresh is a company I have been interested in for awhile. I first fell in love with their product line when I used the Brown Sugar Body Polish. I knew this was a product that would become a beauty staple around my house. I have since purchased several other items from Fresh, especially from their skincare, bodycare and fragrance lines. I find that Fresh Soy Formula f21c Face Cleanser is one of their best products. And the price is right, especially given the cost of some of the high quality face cleansers on the market.

This unique face cleansing gel is fabulous. The texture is somewhat unusual. It is a clear gel and feels very slippery when applied. The gel foams, ever-so-slightly, almost like a lotion, and feels great on dry skin. The face cleanser does an excellent job of removing makeup and leaving the skin soft, comfortably clean and glowing. It also tones the skin, revives the eyelid area and conditions the eyelashes in the process. What could be better? And all in one single product!

For the winter months, this is a perfect compromise between the fresh, clean feeling of a gel and the comfortable, soothing feeling of a lotion. It is my normal-to-dry skin's new favorite cleanser. Soy Face Cleanser contains rose extract, cornflower extract, glycerin, mallow extract, chamomile extract, ginseng, aloe, soybean powder, soybean protein, borage seed oil, cucumber extract, vitamin A, vitamin E and gentle cleansing agents.

I cannot recommend Fresh skin and body products enough - and the Fresh Soy Formula Face Cleanser is a winner!

I have combination skin and used this product only about 3 days before my oilier areas completely broke out. I've noticed all the rave reviews are from people will sensitive or dry skin. On my drier areas the cleanser worked great- but this is not a good cleanser for normal, oily, or combination skin.

(Tangent: I recommend PeterThomasRoth Combination Skin Cleansing Gel for anyone with combination skin. I've never found anything that strikes such a great balance.)

But when I was at the Fresh store and the saleswoman had me sample this product, I was thrilled. I don't usually spend tons of money on products, but she assured me that the tube goes a very long way, and that you only need a small amount on your fingertips. I was inspired to buy a tube for myself and a tube for my cousin as a birthday gift. When she used it the first time, she called me (at midnight) to tell me that she felt like she had just washed her face "in silk." It really is quite great. Other things you should know - it smells a lot like cucumber, and this product does not create a lather.

Other Fresh prodcuts I've tried and love so far:

Sugar Lip Balm - this is really good and long-lasting and smells good enough to eat...but please don't.

Sake Hair Cream - okay all you frizzy heads out there, this stuff works really well (I don't know if you should use a cream if your hair is fine. I have super-thick hair - the kind that stops hairdressers in their tracks when I sit in the chair). Moreover, it smells amazing. It's pricey, but the tube goes a long way.

I started using this about a week ago. Because the stuff is so spendy-esp. for cleanser that's on your face for a minute at most, I purchased the small "to go" size. Love. I have combo/sensitive skin and live in a hot, dry climate. I was a little wary because lately it's been super hot and my boyfriend doesn't believe in a/c, so I've been more greasy-faced. But this smells delish (very cucumber-y. Which reminds me of being a little kid, because I had a pet turtle who ate only cucumbers, but that's another story...) and feels so soothing going on. As others have said, it doesn't lather up, and I know that's just a wrong sensation for some people (including me sometimes). I haven't been more oily or broken out, rather, my skin feels more balanced--and looks more balanced, because it seems to soothe the redness that I sometimes get in splotches from who-knows-what. I feel sort of precious and pampered using this, which hopefully will continue to make me wash my face before bed! I look forward to my moments with this cleanser--and the 'to go' size is going to last a lot longer than your average trial size. I'll let you all know, though, that I don't wear make-up, so I can't tell you how it works on that (I would guess it does a good job) or how much more you might have to use.
Will splurge on full-sized next time.

I have been using the lip balm for a while and came across a Fresh store ... I went in to kill some time and came out with products that have made me like my skin again! I have sensitive skin and I'm prone to rashes and bumps - not with this product. My skin looks and feels more hydrated, soft, smooth and very even. No more worry about dry patches and discoloration.

The best part is that with this cleanser you don't have to mess around with makeup remover - the cleanser does it all. Now, that's what I'm talking about!

I used up a small sample tube of this face cleanser and thought "this is a pretty nice cleanser". It's sort of a milky gel that foams up nicely and smells good. I was considering buying the full size next time I need to get a face wash.....until I looked up the ingredients and saw that they use not one but SEVEN different parabens. Maybe it needs to be heavy on the preservatives because of the soy and cucumber?? But still....yuck. It is also too expensive when in my opinion gel cleansers are a dime a dozen whose only job is to foam, clean and rinse down the drain 1 minute later.

I tried a sample and loved how it felt on my face but decided to look it up on the EWG (environmental working group)site. Some ingredients in it are REALLY BAD for you. I encourage everyone to visit the EWG site before they make any purchase so you can make an educated decision, know what is being absorbed by your body, and how it can affect you.

I absolutely LOVE and RAVE about this product ever since I used it in the store. She used it without water to wipe off my stubborn mascara, and after seconds, voila, it was gone. I went home lathered it, even though I dont think its meant to be lathered on with water, and it was just amazing.. I don't wear a lot of makeup but my what makeup I do wear, I would LIKE for it to come off easily, especially the eye makeup that leaves its residue and can have me wake up looking like a mad woman who punched herself in sleep.

It leaves it hydrated, but I still prefer a moisturizer of course.

It IS expensive, but seems like it will last me 2-3 months.

I like this cleanser very much. Using it for 2-3 years. It is gentle, cleans good and I like its fresh smell. I used to buy it on sephora site,but figured that ordering from Amazon is a bit cheaper.

I have been using this for a while now and like it. It is gentle, and keeps my face moist. I like the fact I can use around my eyes too.Great for use morning and night.
