I am very allergic to all kinds of perfumes and scents, and I have a witchy sense of smell. I can't use any of the air fresheners, scented candles, or carpet cleaners sold in stores. This product is a miracle for me. It is made with only natural ingrediants, and I have never had a problem with its mild fresh pine/sage scent, in fact I like it. It really does neutralize, you can only smell it when you first put it out. We have two large dogs, and this product absorbs all those wet dog and oily winter coat odors. I put it in little bowls throughout my house all year long, but particularly in the humid summer weather. I put it in closets, the attic, and even in the kitchen to absorb everyday food odors. The spray is a must for cars, bathrooms, and heavy cooking odors like bacon and garlic. My husband, who smokes, uses it to spray on himself before business meetings. It completely takes away the smell of smoke from his clothes and hair, and disipates in 30 seconds, so he doesn't walk around smelling like a forest. The gel beads do dissolve quikly(within 2 weeks for about 4 ounces) when it's humid, the exception is in closets. This can become expensive if you're using it all around your house. But it's totally worth the expense to me. In winter though, it will last a few months. I've never reviewed anything before, but I just had to let people know just how great this product is.

I placed about 1 cup in a bowl in the furnace room, where the cat litter boxes (3) are kept and there is no longer any literbox odor. This stuff works,

A mouse died in my house and it is the worst smell I have ever smelled:( and this really helped to get rid of most of it. The odor it gives off is a clean smell.

This product is amazing. I use it everywhere. The sachet packets are especially useful inside the car. I'm a smoker and the packets neutralize the inside of the car so well non-smokers really appreciate not having to put up with the stale cigarette oder. I highly recommend this product.

With four cats (and their litterboxes), plus allergies, I've tried a number of air fresheners in the litter box rooms and in the musty basement. Oust, Febreze, Lysol -- none of them worked well or consistently, and all of them left the air smelling at least a little medicinal and/or plain awful. Since I was skeptical and these aren't inexpensive, I only tried a small jar of these crystals in the worst-offender room for a couple of months. What a difference! Fresh-smelling air 24/7, no discernible fragrance, no constant spraying or irritating "scent stories" to deal with. I've since come back for the 64-ounce jar, and I'll be putting this stuff all over the house -- in closets, litterbox rooms, the basement, the kitchen -- pretty much any room with non-neutral air! Highly recommended.

I'm honestly not sure if this product will work in the long run because I could not leave it around the house for more than a couple weeks because of the odor it emits. It's not a bad odor but my first thought upon opening the product was "public bathroom". I gave it a try, hoping that the odor would dissipate quickly. It did lessen after several days but I could definitely still smell it after two weeks. Also, I could still smell the original odor I was trying to get rid of in the first place, but maybe if I had left the product out longer it would have eventually worked.

I bought the gel, the spray and the candle for my son who is away at college living with a roomate who,unfortunately,is missing the hygeine chip. Let's just say because this roomate rarely bathes or washes his clothes, the room smells like a sewer. My son has had frank talks with him, opened windows etc. but doesn't like to use 'air fresheners' with strong scents. My son is low key, can easily live in a messy room so when he mentioned this issue I knew it must be big. I researched for a product that would be an odor neutralizer not just mask the problem. When my son received the package and tried it, he was amazed right away! He said the room was never this 'fresh' so it's a real lifesaver for him (and peace of mind for me).

Buy this product if you have an odor problem that you can't eliminate.

With all of the rain etc. there have been plenty of musty smells to deal with. Fresh Wave takes care of it all and we had great service when we ordered the product.

We are happy all of the way around.

This product is amazing. We had a dead mouse in our attic. We couldn't find it in 18 inches of insulation so the only answer was to find something to mask the odor. My wife is very sensitive to strong air fresheners. The smell was strongest in our walk in closet. We took some of the gel and put it in a plastic container and punched holes in it. It took care of the smell without strong smelling canned air freshener odor. It is a pleasant smell that doesn't bother my wife. It works as advertised.

Recently a rat died in the walls and the stinch was awful. I bought this product to help mask the odor. I would say it did a satisfactory job. The gel pellets have a pleasant aroma and they seem to neutralize the foul smells. I would recommend this product.
