I bought these socks, along with a pair from Injinji, because I was looking for a light-weight (moisture-wicking) workout sock that would prevent blisters between my toes. I loved that the AFX has antimicrobial odor control. Now that I have both pairs, I actually much prefer (and have purchased more of) the Injinji brand. The AFX socks are very thin, which ended up being less nice than I expected (I figured the thinner the sock, the more breath-ability, but its almost thin to the point of providing no cushion for my foot at all) - and much like a few other reviewers, there is a small knot area where the sewing comes together at the back of the ankle that is so rough, it feels like a small piece of sharp plastic rubbing your ankle your entire run. I found I could sort of fold it over to avoid that, but then they also slide down below the back of my shoe because it's too short a sock to really do that with.
