I am a health food nut, and struggle with the time it takes to make healthy salads and veggie-rich dishes.

I like going to Costco and buying large quantities of vegetables, but alas, when I finish a long day of grocery shopping, all I want to do is shove it into the 'fridge to deal with later...

BUT I don't do that ;)

I take about an hour and wash and cut up my red bell peppers, my onions, my broccoli, mushrooms,etc., and place them each into their own box. I seal up the avocados, the baby lettuce (washed), and all other vegetables and fruits.

When I am ready to make a salad, I just pull out what I feel like having and it's ready to go. When I am ready to cook a stir fry, it's ready. When I make a salad, it's ready. Feeling the munchies? That broccoli is right there (and I keep a bucket of hummus, too).

These boxes keep my veggies fresh for a very long time (oftentimes much longer than a week). Having these boxes has really increased my healthy-eating potential. I couldn't deal with ziplocks or cheaper boxes after having the use of these for so long.

I have been using them for about 2 years now and they have never failed me. They included replacement seals and vents, but I have never had to use them. I do hand wash them, so as to not fog the clear plastic.

The boxes keep other foods fresh, too. Meats, cheeses, leftovers--they all last much longer with these boxes!

I am a personal trainer, and of course try to keep my clients on good and healthy diets, and these are always on my list of "recommended" items for fitness/nutrition.

Also, they keep your refrigerator organized and looking great. They seal everything so well, that even if you forget about something and months later it does go bad, your refrigerator won't stink for it ;) The various sizes fit on shelves and in drawers very nicely.

My husband bought me this set so that we could toss out our mis-matched set. FreshVac containers are attractive which makes the food stored in them that much more appealing. FreshVac delivers as promised. Food kept in them stays fresh longer. This includes fresh fruits, salads, vegetables and homemade goodies. I marinate meat in the larger container and this seems to help the marinade seep into the meat better too.

I have used this product before, bought from a nationwide chain store at a much higher price. They seem to work as advertised. Delivery was as promised and we're pleased.

Freshvac is a fantastic food freshness conserver. Very durable and dishwasher safe, we love them and use them everyday.

These containers seem to be a great idea. I was given 5 for Christmas. I have used 3 of them so far and two of them fail to keep the container sealed. They leak within minutes after sealing. They are nice bowls, but don't count on them keeping air out.

I must have gotten a bad set, because the snap closures are very flimsy and don't seal air tight. I even did a test where I put water in it to see if it would leak and it did (alot). Then, while fumbling to try and get the snap closures to work (very difficult!) I accidently dropped the lid and the green air tight seal completely fell out. I can't believe these are getting good reviews. I cook alot and try to get good quality items in my kitchen and these are terrible.

There were 2 Freshvac Plus containers that would not seal. I tried other lids from Freshvac Pro products on them and they still wouldn't seal so it appears the base of the containers was the problem. I contacted Freshvac who said I could send them back and they would replace them but I would need to pay postage to and from USA and Australia. The postage would cost more than the worth of the goods which is disappointing.

some what good at first but the seal air tight snap doesn't fare well after a short time it will not click on for air tight seal after a few attempts... bogus design failure ,it could have been a nice plus in freshness if it work longer than a few usages . One of those ideas to make you buy new seals every 4 time you use them .

I absolutely love these containers. They really keep your food fresher for a lot longer than any other food storage containers that I have tried (including Tupperware). As an example, I love fresh strawberries, I bought some from Costco and had a lot left over so I put them in one of the larger containers and went on vacation for 5 days and when I got back they were still as fresh as when I first put them in. Normally they would be soft and mushy with mold growing on them had I not put them in the FreshVac container. These containers have saved me a lot of money by keeping my food fresher for a lot longer than anything else that I have tried. I love this product and highly recommend it!

These are fanatastic. They work especially well for strawberries and grapes - they last weeks longer than in the fridge alone or in other storage containers. They are also super for marinading meats - it seems to force the flavor into the meat and it turns out very tender and tasty. I liked them so much I bought some for my mom for her b day.
