The bonus short film is excellent!,

The main movie is good but I actually got this DVD for the bonus material, specifically the short film "Red Thread". I'd seen it at a film festival and thought it was funny and sweet. Plus, the main characters are Asian American and that appealed to me. The lead actress is Keiko Agena from "The Gilmore Girls".

Very clever comedy with excellent skills shown by the writer/director/actor Tom Huang. I particularly thought the dialogue balanced the funny with the dramatic and the movie gives you a good feel (or reminder) of the hardships, fun and growth that occur during freshman year.

Good intelligent movie. Reminded me a lot of the college experience. Very witty writing. Well balanced movie that is both poignant and funny. As a bonus has a good short film included in the DVD.
