I was disappointed in reading the reviews before buying that most people used this mold to make soap. I wanted to make desserts. I made chocolate candy bombes. I brushed the inside with melted chocalate to make cups, filled them with raspberry mousse and a round of poundcake and sealed them with more chocolate. Baking a pie may be less time consuming but this finished product was worth the extra few minutes. Besides, the extra time was spent waiting for the chocolate to harden between steps so it wasn't work. The next time I'm going to try filling them with a mint ice cream. This will work very well for classy make-ahead sit-down dinner or buffet desserts.
This was my first time using a silicone mold and it worked very well.

This pan definitely doesn't make huge donuts, but as long as you read the description and realize the size you won't be disappointed. Our baking mold just arrived today and the kids and I made delicious(and healthy) baked chocolate donuts this afternoon(I'll post a picture above). We followed the instructions provided and prepped the pan with a bit of coconut oil before the first use. After that, I didn't grease it at all and the baked donuts fell right out perfectly with no sticking whatsoever. I love that it's dishwasher safe too! My only disappointments are that a)the donuts aren't a tad bigger, and b)it doesn't make more at once. I'd love to have one with 12 cavities. It would make baking much faster if you could do more at a time. I'm going to buy a 2nd pan. They are plenty small enough to be able to fit multiple ones in the oven.

A very smooth transaction. I use this mold for butter that I make. Its the perfect size for butter making or whatever you desire it for. Things pop right out of the mold ( which is great ).

I've purchased other freshware silicone molds and am happy with their products. At first I thought the cavities were smaller than I needed.. but they are just the right size for individual portions. The measurements in their product descriptions are correct (Cup Size: 2.8-Inch diameter by 1.4-Inch). I got the sphere mold to use with this mold Freshware 11-Cavity Mini Cheesecake, Pudding and Muffin Silicone Mold and Baking Pan for making desserts.

PROS: great for baking cakes and making jellies, easy to clean, easy to store, you can roll it up on itself so it takes up less space (i will add a picture) and won't get deformed. I would suggest filling it on a baking sheet for support for easy transfer from counter to either oven/refrigerator/freezer.

MY NOTE: the mold I received is a dark red not orange red like in the picture. But I actually like it more and color doesn't affect the function.

BOTTOM LINE: good quality, good price, highly recommended.

This product is as advertised and arrived on time.
Description did not state how large each cavity is so I purchased hoping it was large enough for my needs,
It was not.
It holds 2 oz of fluid.

I wanted one of the regular Wilton pans for quite a while, but when I was finally ready to buy it, the dang thing was out of stock! Argh, right? I eventually found this one and bought it.

When it came in I was pretty convinced that there was no way it would create a round bottom like I wanted. It's very flimsy (as is usually the case with silicone) and floppy and I thought once batter went in that the bottom would sink down and I'd end up with a "wok" kind of shape meaning round with a little flat bottom.

I baked brownies, so the batter was very thick and heavy, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they came out with perfectly round bottoms. You'll probably have to bake it on a cookie sheet like I did as I can imagine it wouldn't stand up at all on a wire rack. Best of all, I can roll it up, put it in a bag, and rubber band it for storage rather than have another bulky pan to shove into my cabinets!

Nice piece of bake ware that was great for donuts. After the donuts cooled they just fall right out of the pan. I used it for a gluten free donut recipe. I would say to only fill the spaces half full so they don't lose their donut hole while baking.

As some others have noted, this is the perfect size for making donuts, not the other Freshware mini-donut pan. Even after many uses, my donuts continue to jump right out of their molds! I simply use my fingers to apply a thin layer of coconut oil to the molds before filling them the first time, but don't do it if I refill the molds again. My donuts are a coconut flour version and turn out very well. My only concern was that you can't leave a mold empty in the oven. My simple solution is to fill any remaining molds with some water. So far this works well as my silicone pan hasn't warped. Clean up is a breeze as well! Overall I am simply thrilled to find this silicone pan!

I haven't tried baking in this mold so I can't comment on bake-ability. I bought them to freeze individual size portions of foods like mashed potatoes for my husbands lunches, they're a perfect size and easy to use. They are very flexible so you definitely need a tray under them no matter what you use them for. For my purposes the size works well, I make a big batch of things like mashed potatoes or pasta sauce, freeze them in the mold then store the 'egg' of food in a bag, this way when there's no leftovers in the fridge there's stuff available from the freezer for lunches. They clean up easy also.

I wanted to re-create the "snowball" cupcakes I had as a kid- with the pink gooey coconut frosting and creme filling for a birthday party. This pan was not only the perfect size and configuration- but the cupakes baked beautifully.

The snowball cupcakes were a big surprise for the guests - and a big hit. I saw this pan in a kitchen supply store for a much higher cost- and since I will only use it occassionally I wasn't willing to pay a huge amount. This fit my need and my budget and it arrived right away.
