From the Author
From the preface:
"I wrote these essays when I was a feature writer for The Wimberley View. Never one to keep a diary, I have found, in rereading these pieces, parts of my life that might have gone unremembered had I not written them down. I have found realizations that, fresh when I wrote them, have now become internalized.
"What strikes me most is the way the past carries its theme into the present, how the need to balance order and chaos, beauty and bedlam, love and anger weaves its path through our lives."
