I like router bits that produce chips. This one does that. I don't like bits that burn when you stop for a moment--this one is pretty good about not burning too.

Freud is an industry standard IMO. You can spend a lot more and (maybe) get a slightly better bit, or you can spend less and get a bit that was not good to begin with, or is ready to toss all to quickly. This particular bit continues to well for me. I have always been satisfied with Freud and I haven't paid an arm and a leg.
