I mortised 12 doors, 3 hinges per door, plus latch plates using a gig.
This bit left a perfectly smooth groove, Still sharp as new! I would recommend Freud Bits to anyone seeking high quality tooling!

this thing is great. the original porter cable bit would do 2 doors max, but this bit did 12 door hinges and 6 door latches. cant beat it cause it works and keeps working. and it is still sharp and ready for more.

Well made for mortising projects. No issues at all. Super sharp and high quality bearing utilized. Should work for years with proper use.
