Soften Edges and Create Decorative Beads
Use the 34-126 with any handheld or table-mounted portable router that accepts a 1/2-inch shank for that perfect finishing touch on all of your wood furniture pieces. This bit produces an incredibly accurate 1/2-inch radius cut for smoothing rough edges.
Do you want to produce decorative beadwork on your furniture pieces? It's no problem with the 34-126 Rounding Over Bit. Simply equip the bit with a Freud 62-102 bearing and 62-311 step washer (both sold separately), and it will transform the bit's profile to produce clean, accurate beaded designs.
Durable Design with Protective Coating to Resist Heat and Corrosion
Freud equips all of their router bits with their exclusive TiCo Hi-Density MicroGrain carbide for maximum durability and cutting life. In addition, Freud shields their bits from heat, rust, corrosion and wear by coating all of their Quadra-Cut Router Bits with their exclusive non-stick, red Perma-SHIELD coating.
The 34-126 Rounding Over Bit measures 2-3/4 inches long and has a 1/2-inch shank and 1/2-inch cutting radius. Freud cutting tools are backed by their exclusive Freud Limited Lifetime Cutting Tool Warranty to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase.

Cutting Perfection,

This review is from: Freud 34-126 Quadra- Cut 1/2-Inch Radius Rounding Over Bit with 1/2-Inch Shank (Tools & Home Improvement)
If you are doing round over work on hard woods and especially on end grain this is the bit to use. The 4 cutter heads cut cleanly without tear out. Given the two additional cutting heads you need to move the wood more quickly to avoid burning. It is also beneficial to make a couple of shallow passes before doing the final cut for a perfect, non-blemished finish.

I have a whole lot of various brand router bits (incl'g standard Freud) and these are the best. I've bought a number of different sizes of these, esp. the larger ones and they cut great. Smooth, clean, quiet(er) cuts.

Wrong bit in package.,

I received this bit, the package was labeled with the correct part number, but the bit had only 2 cutters, not the 4 that were described in the description. Close examination of the picture shows a bit with only 2 cutters. I don't know how well it works, since I sent it back.
