The best of the best as far as raised panel bit sets are concerned. The Quad cut system makes glass smooth single pass cuts. Take in concideration that I am using a 3-1/2 HP Milwaukee table mounted router. Be sure to watch the included video for a detailed set up instruction. The price for the bit set was average, but the free shipping made it worth it. The 97-204 set is for 3/4" panels and does leave the panel proud of the stile and rail heights. If you are looking for flush panel heights you can plane down your panels to 5/8" or get the bit set with the second cutter to do flush mount panels.

Very fine set - excellent quality, excellent design. Will make for many years of fine use, producing outstanding results. Recommended to anyone and everyone.

I bought this bit set hoping for the best because I had never made a raised panel door in my life, when I received the bit set I first looked a the included disc and on that disc was all the information that anyone would need to set-up the bits just right in order to obtain perfect results. My first door came out PERFECT, it looked like I was making doors for years, if you're thinking about buying this router bit set JUST DO IT, watch the included disc, follow the instructions and you'll be rewarded with beautiful raised panel doors. (It is recommended that you use a table mounted 3+hp variable speed router for the use of this router bit set). Since then I've bought a few more FREUD router bits including crown molding bits and I must say that ALL of their router bits performed flawlessly.

I purchased this to do several panel door fronts for several built in cabinet. These worked like a dream. I highly recommend.
