Superb Blade,

I've used this blade to rip everything from MDF to Red oak. It cuts like a hot knife in butter. No evidence of chip out and the edges are ready to glue up from Oak to soft woods like pine. I've used this blade to rip what is was intended to and not intended for and its a dream. No more touching or finishing up imperfect cuts. A great time saver and well worth the additional price. Get it now you won't be sorry.

My favorite blade,

I work with 4/4 and 6/4 walnut almost exclusively. This is the best blade I've found for ripping it. Assuming the lumber is planed when ripped, it goes straight to the glue-up table from the back side of the saw. I've sold my other blades, including my Forrest, and use only the LU74, LU72, and the LU85.

I've both used and sold these blades for a couple years. They're amazing. Cuts are quick & smooth. Blade stays cool and lasts a long time. However, I've been equally impressed with the non-coated version of the same blade. It is about $15 less & doesn't burn wood chips into the coating. Save a few $$s & buy the little brother.

I love it!!! Once you get used to this blade you can't live without it. It does a great job of ripping boards and I don't know what the other guy is talking about with the problem with hardwoods. I use 8/4 cherry frequently and it rips right through it. Overall a great investment and a great alternative to a jointer if you don't have the funds for a high end model.

I actually bought this blade from another site but I wanted to add my 2 cents. I got it specifically for a job that required bevelling some 4' lengths of maple. I have a Ridgid 3650 table saw. It's a good saw but does not have the power that much bigger cabinet saws have. With that said the blade performed flawlessly. The cuts were extremely smooth without a hint of burning. This blade is a great investment if you find yourself doing a lot of ripping and would like to avoid the extra step of going to the joiner after your cuts.

I was working on a project and it seemed every board I cut I needed to take to the jointer to smooth up. Then I saw this ad for the glue line blade. No more jointer needed for glue up. Boy was I waisting a lot of time before. Beautiful clean lines every time. 90% of the work I do is with cherry, no burn marks or lines to clean up.

Best blade I've ever used. I have cut Cherry, Walnut, Oak, Maple, and Lyptus with extremely smooth edges. The blade is designed for cutting wood of 1 inch and less in thickness.

After reading the write up in a woodworking magazine, I was interested in trying this blade out. Then I found it on Amazon. This may be because I had usually used general purpose blades in my table saw, I think it does an great job of ripping wood whilst leaving a really smooth edge. You really have to do a side by side comparison with two wood samples, its nice. I haven't had a chance to try it for a glue up job yet, but I believe that it should do a good job for that too. I like the non stick red coating too. It seems to just melt thru the wood.

Advertised for glue ups without using a jointer. Yes, it will do that. However, I don't do a lot of glue ups. What I like is the great looking rips I get in any type of lumber. This is great for finish carpentry and trim work. Saving time and giving you and your customer superior results. Unless I am involved in framing, this blade stays on my table saw. I suggest you buy at least 2 so you have one to swap when the other is being sharpened. My oldest blade has been sharpened 3 times now (they stay sharp for a long time) with results just like new.
