5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding crosscut blade!, January 15, 2007

This review is from: Freud LU74R010 10-Inch 80-Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Cut Off Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor and PermaShield Coating (Tools & Home Improvement)
I use strictly Forrest & Freud saw blades (Forrest WWII on my table saw & the Freud 80-tooth on my miter saw; latter replaced an older Freud blade, 60-tooth). This blade was highly recommended to me on a WW forum (Woodnet) by a number of members, including one who works for Freud (obviously a bias but a wealth of knowledge & detail as to 'why' this is almost a 'perfect' miter blade). The blade has functioned flawlessly and leaves cuts w/ little if any tearout - edges really require no 'touch up' sanding.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just call it timex!, July 9, 2009
This review is from: Freud LU74R010 10-Inch 80-Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Cut Off Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor and PermaShield Coating (Tools & Home Improvement)
After one year of use the blade still cuts smooth as silk. That is eight hours a day five days a week usage. Priced close to the OEM blade but lasts much longer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great blade, January 7, 2009

This review is from: Freud LU74R010 10-Inch 80-Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Cut Off Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor and PermaShield Coating (Tools & Home Improvement)
Freud makes great thin kerf blades and this one does not disappoint. The blade is super sharp and leaves edges in plywood smooth. Excellent quality for the price, and while still basically a disposable blade you won't be replacing it often. As with any thin-kerf blade, it is slightly more prone to bending if you are careless with it.
