The Freud 12-Inch 72-Tooth sliding compound miter saw blade with Perma-Shield coating provides a superior finish cut with both slide and non-sliding compound miter saws. A 5-degree negative hook prevents the blade from being too aggressive and helps push the work piece down and towards the fence; and the Perma-Shield coating helps make the blade resistant to friction and heat buildup. This blade is great with sliding miter or radial-arm saws, for reduced climbing while crosscutting softwood, hardwood, or moldings.

Applications
This is a fine finish blade for sliding miter and radial arm saws. Use it to crosscut softwood, hardwood, or moldings.

The LU91R012 is a very good all around trim blade for all soft and hard wood trim. It works especially well with sliding miter saws. The thin kerf is a must for fine trim cuts and I wouldn't buy a blade without a perma-shield coating. I've been building custom homes for 25yrs. and know saw blades.

I bought this blade for my bosch miter saw and it does a great job. Really smooth and quiet with minimal splintering. The finished cut requires hardly any sanding. This is my first Freud blade and I think

all of my saws are going to get one. A little pricy, but you get what you pay for!

I ordered this blade expecting it to fit on my miter saw just as my other 12" blades did. Unfortunately, the manufacturer decided that 1/4" smaller in diameter was acceptable. It isn't, as it won't even cut through the wood fully. When measured against all other 12" blades I own, this one is 11 3/4" in diameter, where all others are precisely 12".

Freud blades are awesome, and I'll buy them whenever I can. This is one instance where I wish I hadn't wasted my time. If you sell a 12" blade, make sure it is actually 12" in diameter.
