I bought this blade for my table saw. I intended to use it just for cutting thin aluminum sheets. I have been very impressed with this blade. I've cut aluminum, brass, polycarbonate plastic, and phenolic. It leaves a very clean edge on all these materials. I've even used it to cut 1/4 inch aluminum plate (slowly and very carefully). I did all this very well. Don't use it on wood though - wood needs some set to the teeth or it tends to bind and not cut cleanly.

One caution - be very careful of kickback when cutting thicker metal pieces. Make sure both pieces are guided when cut so they won't twist into the blade from the side. A 1/8 inch thick brass plate thrown back at you can hurt!

Blade worked great on channel and angle extruded aluminum, cuts were not as smooth as expected and left burrs that had to be filed.

This is a perfect blade for cutting hardwood leaves a smooth edge, and Freud has a great warrenty.

I had to cut some extruded aluminum handles for my kitchen. I made about 100 cuts with a miter saw through aluminum and it handled it perfectly. The cut was very clean, feed rate good when using it on the table saw, and it did not heat at all.

I am using this blade to cut aluminum angle that is 1/8 thick. It cuts nice and clean and I found it to be a great value. All the non ferrous blades at the saw shop were over $90, so I was happy to find one that would do the job for less since I don't use it daily.

I bought this to make my own Solar Screens and all I can say is Wow!
It cut's my 7/16 x 3/4 aluminum frame like butter with no burs to file off.

We install a lot of showers and build many screens and this is a great value for a non-ferrous blade.
