5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Nursing Bra
I tried many different styles of nursing bras trying to find one that was supportive enough for me. I'm a dificult size to find because I have a small band size and large cup size. This bra has plenty of support. It's very comfortable to wear. Yes, this bra does make my breasts look a bit more pointy than others, but It's not unflattering. Actually, I like the way...

2.0 out of 5 stars not for smaller frames with heavy breasts
I've nursed three kids in six years and own two of these bras in a 32J and one in a 30H. I purchased the smaller size when I was pregnant and have worn the larger while nursing my third child. They are stiff, cut deep under my armpits, ride up in the back causing them to dig in under the ribs, and the seams are right down the center where they irritate the nipple. After...

2.0 out of 5 stars not for smaller frames with heavy breasts, October 14, 2009
This review is from: Freya Rosalie Maternity/Nursing Softcup Bra (Apparel)
I've nursed three kids in six years and own two of these bras in a 32J and one in a 30H. I purchased the smaller size when I was pregnant and have worn the larger while nursing my third child. They are stiff, cut deep under my armpits, ride up in the back causing them to dig in under the ribs, and the seams are right down the center where they irritate the nipple. After wearing this for a year I have red rub marks under the ribs and on top of my shoulders, occationally on my nipple, with a friction rash just below my arm pits. If you fluctuate a lot before and after feedings they only get more uncomfortable as the fabric has no stretch at all.

With my first two I wore the Anita 5062 and although they were small in the cup and lost shape quicker, they were much more comfortable. I purchased the Freya Rosalie because I was told it was my only option in my size at a specialty bra shop. For a small framed person, I'm a size 6, with heavy breasts I would not purchase this bra. Now that my son doesn't nurse as much I have shrunk and have more options again. Knowing what I know now I would not have purchased these bras. The only positive thing I can say for them is they were prettier than most and the nude color I was looking for. I hope this helps someone else similarly sized.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Nursing Bra, November 8, 2008

I tried many different styles of nursing bras trying to find one that was supportive enough for me. I'm a dificult size to find because I have a small band size and large cup size. This bra has plenty of support. It's very comfortable to wear. Yes, this bra does make my breasts look a bit more pointy than others, but It's not unflattering. Actually, I like the way this bra looks under my shirts--it's very good for avoiding sagging. The seams don't show very much under shirts, either. There are some prettier nursing bras available out there, but the support can't even compare with this bra. I would much rather have the support I need than have a pretty bra--good support makes my figure look good no matter what I'm wearing over the bra!

The cups are a bit high under the arms, but I only noticed it the first couple of times I put the bra on. After that I got used to it, and I didn't even notice it. The latch on the cups is easy to open and close with one hand. The straps are also a bit wider than most, so they don't dig in at the shoulders. (I'm not usually a fan of wide straps, but these ones aren't so bad.) I love that it is available in the nude color, as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Nursing Bra, January 2, 2012
This review is from: Freya Rosalie Maternity/Nursing Softcup Bra (Apparel)
I never write reviews for the items I purchase but this bra has changed that! Over the years I have owned many Freya bras in the past and have always been pleased with the support (in a FF cup) and the shaping. When I recently started shopping for nursing bras after the birth of our first child I was not pleased with the options in my larger cup size. I went to my local bra fitting boutique that has always had an excellent selection in my size and I found that most of the bras available had an unattractive shape and design. Finally after purchasing many bras in stores and online I realized that Freya made several nursing bras and I decided to give this one a try. I am very pleased that I did because the support is great! The coverage is good without going overboard. Some nursing cups offer to much coverage and end up showing depending on the collar shape of my shirt but that is not the case with this one. Also the lace trim makes it a little bit more attractive and less like something my grandmother would wear. If you are a larger cup size I highly recommend trying this bra, it will not disappoint!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars a very pretty nursing bra, June 20, 2009
This review is from: Freya Rosalie Maternity/Nursing Softcup Bra (Apparel)
Of all the nursing bras I've bought, this is my favorite. It's actually pretty (I have the "petal" design), with the lace edging, about as pretty as a nursing bra can be. Unlike many of the other bras I have purchased, it's comfortable to wear all day and doesn't cut into the sides of the body. There is no underwire, but it still feels really sturdy and has a good uplift. It's full coverage and there's no chance of a "wardrobe malfunction", unless of course you unhook it. At the same time, it's low-cut enough that you can wear something other than a t-shirt or a turtleneck. It also has 4 different places you can connect it in the back, in case you are changing band sizes as you may through the post-partum period. This brand is good because it does come in larger sizes, where many nursing bras stop around DD (strangely, since everyone knows that breasts increase in size when you're nursing - you'd think more manufacturers would cater to the DDD+ market.)

2.0 out of 5 stars Voguing, May 9, 2008

I selected this bra as it was one of few that came in a nude colour and, what looked like a nice pretty fabric and cut. In reality, when it arrived, it felt and looked more like an industrial catapult and when on, made my chest suitable for a 1990s Madonna Vogue-athon. I was rather disappointed as I have found 'pretty' nursing bras hard to find however, I have returned this one in favour for the Elle MacPherson bra which I have found extremely comfortable, flexible given the amount of back fastening options and it comes in some nice colours too.
