This is the best TV series ever. If you missed the early seasons, now is a good time to order them on DVD and spend your TV time watching quality acting and an ever improving and evolving storyline. Having burned out on the sitcom, cop, hospital, and military shows that now dominate primetime TV, I now spend most of my TV time watching the quality dramas from the recent past. I am unhappy to know that Friday Night Lights will only have five seasons, but on the other hand, this quality show has struggled to survive since its first year. I can only hope that the producers of Friday Night Lights will be able to create a new show having the same quality of storyline, acting, and photography. This is a wonderful coherent work, the best that TV has to offer.
