4.0 out of 5 stars Great Book!, September 30, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Friday's Child (A Day to Remember Series #5) (Paperback)
I think this series just gets better with every book. I really enjoyed it. In my opinion, there was only one little problem. The back cover summary thing was kind of misleading. So just disregard what it says. If you liked the other books in the series, this is a must read. What a great book! I highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great addition to A DAY TO REMEMBER!, April 6, 2002
This review is from: Friday's Child (A Day to Remember Series #5) (Paperback)
Linda Chaikin just keeps getting better and better! Great characters. This is set in London, England and Scotland during WWII. Vanessa receives a message from her father who had abandoned her and her brother Kylie to come to his estate in Scotland. Vanessa wants to the peacemaker in the family and so she sets out to make things right between her father and her brother. Little did she know that she would walk into mysterious happenings at the mansion. Her half-sister, Lucy is resentful against her coming there thinking that she would steal the estate from her. But is the estate really the Miles's? A mysterious caretaker, Kerc Trevalyan what is he after? Vanessa is loving and giving as she sets out to right the wrongs in her life with her father. Great story, great ending!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Lesson in Loving ALWAYS, November 22, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Friday's Child (A Day to Remember Series #5) (Paperback)
Linda Chaikin impresses me every time I read one of her books. Friday's Child was no different. It has just the right balance between action and romance.

Vanessa gives all young Christian girls a character to look up to. I know that I admire her, even though she has never stepped off of the pages of Mrs. Chaikin's books. She has the ability to love no matter what, which I still lack. She loves her father, who abandoned her at a young age, and she loves in the midst of war.

Mrs. Chaikin has outdone herself this time. Though I have not read Thursday's Child yet, Friday's Child is by far my favorite of A Day To Remember series.
