Human beings are interested in other human beings. We like to know how others live, what they feel, and how they cope and survive. What other human beings do to win at living becomes an informational target for all of us. This book will show you how normal, and not-so-normal people exist side-by-side in this difficult world. By emulating the thinking and behaviors of normal people, it is hoped that your life will improve in quality regardless of the quantity of living that remains for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Gain balance in one sitting. Full of humor and insight., October 5, 1999

This review is from: Friday's Laws: How to become normal when you're not and how to stay normal when you are (Hardcover)
Friday's Laws not only lends stability and comfort, but shows how easy it is to make oneself stable and comfortable. Dr. Friday catches and fries the fish for us, but also give us the line and teaches us how to use it ourselves. The conversation-like prose enables participation by using humor, and the book includes some revealing self-exams and memorable laws to live by. I recommend this book for anybody who craves some stability in life. Thank you, Dr. Friday.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fine book, January 26, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have to tell you this is a well written book filled with thought provoking ideas and facts of why we're, well, nuts. I've read hundreds of self help, philosophy, eastern thought books, but this book lays out the reason why we are like we are. It does not provide a way to change per say, but the way to change is to stop doing what's written. Overall a great book. One to motivate me to write my first review of the many books I've read purchased from amazon.
