The recipes are definitely home style, which isn't necessarily bad, just more or less bland. Most are things I could have and probably have whipped up without a cookbook. Again, not bad, just not exciting.

The book needs a good edit. All the recipes are written in underlined font which is really distracting, and some of the typos are hilarious:

In the Kimchi Fried Rice:

1 oz. porn string...

Lightly beat the eggs, spare.

The table of contents exists, but does not actually come up when you click navigation to go to table of contents.

I think I'll hang on to it and experiment with one or two of the recipes, but I wouldn't recommend it to friends because of the editing work it needs.

Good basic recipes to use as a starting point if you are not that familiar making fried rice. As the other reviewer stated, lots of typos, but it was free so I'll overlook that :)
