Spike Jones Meets Rock and Roll!, December 9, 1998

This three person group makes the wildest music since Spike Jones shocked music critics with his brand of 'cocktail' music, punctuated with gunshots. Lots of clever writing is contained in the prodigious crowding of song after song on this CD. Just in terms of songs per dollar, this one is a bargain. The group's only drawback is, indeed, the fact that some of these numbers could have benefited from a lengthier development. Crank up the volume and hold on to your hat.
