SL36L30A Big/Cold/Loud,

We purchased this unit because of Friedrich's reputation for quality. And I am not disappointed with the quality of this unit. It feels and looks super solid and it pushes out a MASSIVE amount of frigid air. But, the down side to that massive amount of air is that it is incredibly loud. The unit does push out enough air to keep most of our house cool, but I would think twice about installing it in a main living area. Also, it's really heavy, not something that you want to be pulling in and out of your window every year. Overall not a bad purchase, I was just not expecting it to be as loud as it is. Also for the price, I would expect a few more features like a remote control, and a remote temperature sensor.

I PURCHASED THESE UNIT DUE TO THE HIGH QUALITY I HAVE HEARD A FREIDRICH AIR CONDITIONERS. I LOVE IT. IT COOLS MY ENTIRE DOWNSTAIRS BEAUTIFULLY!! I DONT GO UP STAIRS ANYWAY SO IT WORKS GREAT FOR ME AND THE WIFE!! IT IS COOLING 1000+ SF A KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM AND LIVING ROOM AND MY BEDROOM!! I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. IT IS A LITTLE LOUD BUT IT IS AN AIR CONDITIONER.
