4.0 out of 5 stars Performs well as a creamer, but I hope you don't have much milk to froth!
I will be the first to admit that I was highly attracted to the physical design of this pitcher. On that account, it holds up. 2.0 out of 5 stars Frieling Pitcher Way Too Small
I should have paid more attention to the description. For me, this is way to small for a medium latte. At only 10 oz you can only put in about 1/2 cup of milk (because once you start frothing, the cup fills up quickly. If that's all the milk you need, enjoy, it is a nice quality pitcher.

4.0 out of 5 stars Performs well as a creamer, but I hope you don't have much milk to froth!, March 10, 2006
This review is from: Frieling Creamer/Frothing Pitcher (Kitchen)
I will be the first to admit that I was highly attracted to the physical design of this pitcher. On that account, it holds up. This is a beautifully made piece of kitchen gear, with a nice mirrored finish on the outside, made from heavy gauge steel, and a nice, solid-feeling (I guess it could be solid) handle.

Where this item falls short for me is in its small volume as a frothing pitcher. I will also be the first to admit that this is an error on my part, but a 10 ounce pitcher sounded like more than enough for my needs. The problem is, the expansion of the milk as you foam it means you'll be overfilling this pitcher like a Homer Simpson beer.

This was my first frothing pitcher. Three weeks later, I went and bought a 24 ounce pitcher at a local kitchen supply store. If you only want to foam 2-3 ounces of milk at a a time, this is the pitcher for you. If you have dreams of large, creamy lattes (especially if you have dreams of more than one of them), this may not be the item for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars pitcher size appropriate for one or two cappuccinos, April 9, 2006
By
This review is from: Frieling Creamer/Frothing Pitcher (Kitchen)
If you are making your cappuccinos one or two at a time this picture is fine for those that drink their coffee Italian style. If you prefer a more American style cappuccino (1/2 milk and 1/2 espresso) the capacity of this picture will hold enough milk for one good sized cappuccino.

The pitcher is very sturdy and attractively styled. The handle stays cool when the milk is being steamed. The pitcher is also easy to clean.

I highly recommend this item.

I didn't pay close attention to the other reviews. This is too small to be a frother for lattes. You need a 16 oz capacity.

Otherwise, it is a high quality item.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful And Functional (at 3 3/8" Tall), March 29, 2009

This review is from: Frieling Creamer/Frothing Pitcher (Kitchen)
Just 3 3/8" tall! It's capacity is just a tad over 10 ounces when filled to the brim. Seems much smaller in your hand than it appears in the photo.

I am very impressed with this pitcher. Perfect for my needs; frothing 3-4 ounces of milk (soy please).

It is made of a nice heavy gauge Stainless Steel, perfect mirror finish on the outside. And an easy-to-keep-clean spun finish on the inside. The handle is welded on, extremely sturdy.

The milk spins perfectly when I froth. The pouring spout works ok for latte art. Perhaps a pointed spout would work better, but I have no experience there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stainless Steel Creamer, January 13, 2009

I decided to order this creamer after looking in several stores in several states. It goes well with my stainless steel butter dish even though they are different brands. I also ordered the sugar bowl and spoon set as well. They are great to use every day and can also be used for special occasions. I would recommend them to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent design, perfect for cappuccino frothing, March 23, 2011

This review is from: Frieling Creamer/Frothing Pitcher (Kitchen)
This is a solid and beautifully crafted pitcher. It has glossy steel on the outside (which doesn't come through well in the photos) and matte steel on the inside...looks GREAT.

Highlights:
- Feels very solid when you pick it up. The handle is stylized but comfortable to use and is solid so if you are doing latte art or precise pours you have a lot of control over the pitcher.

- Perfect size for 1 or 2 cappuccinos, or 1 latte. This is a small frothing pitcher and I was looking for *EXACTLY* something this size to make 1-2 cappuccinos every morning....most pitchers are too big and as a result don't produce the right froth texture for small pours (you can't get the frothing tip deep enough in a big pitcher with a small milk pour). I know other reviewers have knocked the small size of the pitcher but that really is the buyer's fault since the product description clearly states the pitcher volume! (Also, I suspect folks may be horribly overfrothing their milk but that is whole other topic!)

- This is a *much* nicer made product than frothing pitchers I saw at Bed Bath & Beyond, Bloomingdales, Macy's, etc. The finish is really excellent, edges are smooth, the lip is well designed for latte art, and the welding is top notch. It is a designer product rather than just a kitchen tool.

Cons:
- As with most frothing pitchers, there is no volumetric marking on the inside so you have to judge the amount of milk poured. I can't really complain about that because most pitchers don't have markings and it would, I guess, violate the minimalist design of the pitcher. Still, I'd like to be able to nail the exact amount of milk every day for my capps!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for frothing milk for 1 cappucino, January 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Frieling Creamer/Frothing Pitcher (Kitchen)
I happen to think this is a perfect size for a single cappuccino frothier. The milk foam will reach to the top, but it is just right... however my husband wishes it was a bit larger. I suppose a 12 ounce will make most people feel more comfortable. Other then the smaller size, I find this to be a beautiful frothing cup, it is stylish and elegant and perfect to keep right by the Espresso Machine. I love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very small but great quality., October 16, 2009
By
This review is from: Frieling Creamer/Frothing Pitcher (Kitchen)
I don't understand why people rate this product low just because of its size. It's not like the description on the website doesn't match the product. I also made a mistake when I didn't pay attention to this creamer's measurement specifications. I was disappointed when I saw it for the first time, very small. So small that I don't even think I will ever use it. I'm hoping someone will come visit and use it.

I still rate it 5 stars for its quality. Nice creamer, heavy, and very beautiful. Actually, beauty is the reason why I picked this one in the first place. I would definitely recommend it.
