Frieling Creamer and Sugar Bowl Set

We purchased this set because we have an evil cat who's broken both a china sugar bowl and a glass one. Would definitely recommend and purchase again.

Pros:
- Expensive-looking w/shiny exterior and brushed metal interior.
- Works in both dressy and casual settings. Probably not for really formal stuff, though.
- The handle on the creamer may look a little dinky in the picture, but it's actually comfortable to hold/use.
- Creamer is the right shape to use for steaming milk on an espresso machine.
- Seriously, the cutest sugar ladle ever, and the shape is such that you don't ever accidentally use it to stir your coffee.

Cons:
- Sugar bowl opening is about 3.5 inches wide - makes it tough to fill the bowl using a regular measuring cup without making a mess. Or else I'm a giant klutz, which is also a clear possibility. Easily avoided if you use a funnel or something with a spout to fill.
- One of our guests had a problem getting the sugar ladle back in the bowl - you can't just push it down into the sugar like you might do with a teaspoon. But she'd had a long day and was probably not entirely with it at the time. No one else has had a problem with it.

Random info:
- 1 heaping sugar ladle = 1 teaspoon (an actual teaspoon, not a teaspoon measure)
- "10 ounce capacity" per the product description means 1 cup in real life.

Absolutely FAB!!! Shiny-bright stainless steel, matches Frieling French Press, and any other stainless tableware/countertop items perfectly! Just the right size for serving a table of 4 or so...of course the sugar bowl holds plenty- note you'll likely need to refill the creamer for a second cup go-around at a table seating 4-6 coffee lovers. Overall these are just VERY sturdy/solid, clean-up beautifully and very easily, and, by the way, the sugar spoon included with the lid-covered sugar bowl dispenses an exact teaspoon of sugar, and sets inside the little 'notched' area of the lower bowl, so that the spoon rests perfectly inside the sugar bowl while the the lid remains covered/on at the same time- a really simple, yet European-engineered, well-thought out design & quality. I fully anticipate that this will be an heirloom hand me-down...although it's a l-o-o-o-ng time until I'll be distributing my assets! Make sure to buy the matching Frieling French Press- it's just incredible, & also heirloom quality! Give yourself the gift of European quality coffeeware- it's one of life's simple, yet indispensible indulgences! PS the Frieling French Coffee Press w/ this matching sugar/creamer set makes a unique and favorite wedding gift too!

This stainless creamer and sugar bowl is beautiful, high polished, and looks great on any table. Frieling makes a quality product and it is very stylish.

Frieling, in my experience, makes the finest in stainless products. I have bought their French press coffee pot and their tea pot, so I, of course, wanted the sugar and creamer set to match. Their quality is matchless. I purchased an extra sugar bowl for sweetener and a tray from All Clad. What a classy looking set. Everything can be put in the dishwasher. It has a beautiful shine to it and goes with any set of dishes. I have received numerous compliments. I have learned that if you buy something good once, you will not need to replace it. Buy something that is not of quality and it will not hold up over time and will cost more over the long run in replacements. Frieiling stainless sugar bowl, creamer, French press coffee pot and teapot all match in their beautiful design and are dynamite, quality products. Amazon's price is terrific.

Items are as pictured. Spoon is well designed to retrieve sugar without bending wrist as one would with a regular spoon. Fingerprints only become an issue with sugar bowl, but with a slight buffing with a napkin they disappear.

It is certainly one of the best looking set out on Amazon. In my opinion of course.
The only thing is that since the pitcher is advertised as frothing pitcher (not serving pitcher) - Frieling Creamer/Frothing Pitcher, it should be much bigger than it is. It's my bad I didn't read carefully that it's only 10 fl oz. so I shouldn't really complain, but really if you want to froth milk in, it probably won't fit more than 4-5 oz of it without spilling it out when you fit the spout and thermomether in it and start the procedure.

Frothing pitcher needs to be at least 18 oz. I'm still keeping the set, it looks great and I will use the pitcher to serve milk and I'm getting a bigger Rattleware Spouted Bell Steaming Pitcher - 25 oz - this one should be just fine to perfectly froth 10-15 oz's of milk for me and my guest's latte :)

Good buy, but make sure a 10oz pitcher is what you want!

We had too much coffee-stuff on the kitchen counters, and nothing going on at the bar. So the drip coffee maker, K-cup machine and espresso machine moved, along with a mic for reheating. Great idea. But we had no good looking sugar and creamer that fit with the stainless/black look. The sugar and creamer, plus the matching tray that is sold separately, fit the bill nicely. We have a western look in our home, but I love the sparkle of the Frieling set. The design is simple and elegant.

The product itself looks great however, the tray appears somewhat cheap looking. The only reason for four stars is that the creamer is a bit small(10 oz). One may have to refill a few times if serving a party of six.

I love this creamer and sugar bowl - they are just beautiful! And I've actually used them in some of my highly realistic oil paintings as I love painting reflections. This set reflects items nearby, wonderfully well, and of course, we love using this creamer and sugar bowl!

This is a very elegant set. Very impressive & looks just perfect with the Frieling Press Pots. Great quality!
