4.0 out of 5 stars sentimental jouney into letter writing, September 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Friend to Friend (Hardcover)
If you enjoy reading a stranger's diary, and find sentiment in old hand written letters.....this book Friend to Friend..is for you! Lois Wyse shares with us letters from famous woman in the past to the present...she adds some history to each letter, and a bit of sentimental quotes... One of my favorite books was A Woman Of Independent Means which an entire womans life was told by the letters she had written from school age to old age. It was so mushy, and so nostalgic, and this book seems to remind me of those feeling which only a woman can write through letters.
