This book is hot, hot, hot. Not for the faint of heart, but if you like smoking hot, nothing left to the imagination, sex scenes, you will definitely like this book. The penultimate sex scene between Sebastian and Bailey (the one after her celebration party) is by far the most arousing I have ever read. And I loves me some Sebastian! But agree with other reviewers that I wanted to know more about him. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the race issue was somewhat clumsily handled -- since it doesn't add anything to the main story or characters' back stories, I would delete the whole scene. Other than that, great book.

As I read this my angle kept changing. First I thought, ok where's the history behind the friendship? There's no more than a page-worth total. Then I thought, ok this isn't a love story; it's all about the sex. That's fine. Whatever. But there was nothing about the sex that made the scenes hot or steamy. Then I noticed that the reaction each character had in various scenes was just weird. Giggling when there was nothing funny or getting angry when nothing was offensive. The foot stomping thing was weird. They were hot-n-bothered when nothing sexy had happened. They were affectionate when I saw no real closeness. Every time I thought Bailey was going to tell Sebastian clearly "I have no interest in doing that", she squinted and let Sebastian do what he wanted. She was described as being feisty. I saw no feistiness. I stopped in the middle of the book and decided to not finish because I was still waiting for it to get started. This is an erotic story, but not quite.

Bailey and Sebastians relationship is quite steamy. There were many HOT nights! However, I wish the relationship had more time to develop. I also thought we needed to know more about Sebastian. But, I still enjoyed the story!Come on Lena, I need some more "Blacker the Berry" books!
