I enjoyed the show the first time around and I'm now enjoying it again, and again. Maybe there is no big story line, maybe there is no 1st rate acting .... but the show and the characters make me laugh out loud!!! Life, work and just alot of day-to-day stuff are not funny and to have the ability to watch and literally laugh out loud - it is almost like medicine for my spirit .... laugh and the world laughs with you, etc ... I say a big "thanks" to the friends.

This show is absolutely amazing : actors are good, gags are good, stories are good and always new (you never get bored). There is nothing else to say except that it was, it is, and it will ever be the show of an entire generation cause during 10 years those 6 friends made millions of people cry and laught all over the world. And now with the DVD you can start the story again from the begining and re-watch your 6 favorite friends again and again. So don't miss that chance. This set worth it.

but anyways, i was wondering why the first 9 seasons is more expensive the the set of all 10 seasons?

I'm not a guy seeing lots of TV, but I really like Friends. Once a time it was the only one I wanted to watch after work. It gave me so much relax. I think Friends really gave me what I wanted, some funny things that made me laugh, instead of consider the serious real world problems that already gave me too much headach.

I never wrote review at amazon. I speak because the horrible review makes me feel that my favorite show was hurt, and I can do something to make the hurt less.

The set is excellent. Highly recommended. Price is very reasonable. You will have many hours of entertainment. Good stuff. A++

I pity you reviewers that describe their "crucifixion" of such a tremendously wonderful sitcom. It is upsetting that Friends fans will write reviews about their favorite show and be labled as people with "nothing else better to do."

I own seasons one through nine on DVD and hope to have the final season once it is released.

Almost two years ago when I first saw Friends, I loved it strongly. I don't want to bore people reading this with my experiences, but I have loved Friends for nearly two years. The longest I've ever loved a show is sixth months.

The acting is wonderful and hillarious.

You bitter reviewers have your opinions, but Friends has legacy, if small, in American history.

I recomend all of the Friends sets.

Your problem may be caused by selecting the coffee cup that is next to each episode. Selecting the coffee cup will only show a preview of each episode. Try moving the cursor over the episode name and selecting it or just click Play on the main DVD menu and watch from the beginning of the disc.

I am a big Friends fan & was very excited to get seasons 1-9 last week in the mail. However, I'm having trouble w/ the DVD's in that several episodes will only play one scene before taking me back to the main menu. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem & if so how they fixed it? It's on all the DVD's I've checked so far, and I've tried it in 2 DVD players, and it's the same.

I have to feel sorry for the two losers that are so self centered and hung up on their superior airs that they can't enjoy a show as fun as 'Friends'. I find all of the actors to be delightful and perfect in their roles, and I do not make the mistake of trying to judge their shows by their real or private lives or attitudes.
This show is a blast. It's almost slapstick at times, but it's always tremendously well written and well performed. It really does showcase a generation. My son is the same age as the 'Friends' characters, he went through the same time and times. I love thinking of his watching these DVD's and I wonder how much of his memories he sees in them.
Sorry, grouchy guys ... you're way off in left field there. To anyone who loves light hearted fun with some substance thrown in for good measure, if you can enjoy without having to puff yourself up pretending to be some high strung critic ... don't miss the 9 seasons of 'Friends'. I'm sure glad I didn't.

I've been reading the other reviews. For me, this is the best show on earth when you just want to relax or look back on yourself and think of you and your friends from college and just after. For those who don't like the show: It's on tv enough that you know what it's about. If you don't like it, then DON'T WATCH IT! I don't care much for The Simpsons, but I'm not going to seek out the dvd and give it a bad review. Come on!!
