I found this Book in my Local "BOOKS A MILLION" Bookstore and it was a Wonderful read .I have to admit I had read in other Books the Basic Story of some of the Major Players "GASSPIPE" Anthony Casso ...Feldman the Federal Prosecutor and other members of Organized Crime,But it was very well presented and edited perfectly ...it Flowed and was hard to put down .How lucky we are to have Honorable Law Enforcement officers like Tommy Dades and his Partner who pursued this case with the Tenacity of two Starving Pitbulls chasing a Tender loin .The Intuitive Mistrust by Tommy Dades of the Federal Prosecutors was Amazingly on the Money ...it's nice to read when Good Prevails over EVIL.....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is a most excellent read and true version of the real deal. A NYC detective, bored, and a few months away from what he felt was a forced retirement, makes a promise to a mother and the rest is simply explosive. Wait until you read how he finally nails them. The one piece of the puzzle he needed to pull it all together. You won't believe it.

It is also a very good look inside the various law enforcement agencies working on this case and the evil that is within some of them.

I never knew about these cops until I read this book. The author did his homework and illustrates how different law enforcement agencies do not cooperate very well. The book could have been about 30 pages less had a lot of the side-story fluff had not been added. Overall, it was very informative about the case and a good read for Mafia buffs.
