This review is from: Friends Helping Friends: A Handbook for Helpers (Paperback)
I used this handbook for brainstorming ideas when creating a small counseling group at the middle school level. The book is geared more towards high school students and creating a peer helper group at that level, but many of the ideas are adaptable to lower grades. I've used it to create a social skills group for two of my students with autism. Used some ideas from this handbook and some ideas from the Circle of Friends model to begin a middle school group.
