This review is from: Friends of the Horseclans (Paperback)
I purchased this book solely for the Andre Norton story "Rider On a Mountain". I found this story to be markedly different from most Norton stories, but also quite in her usual style; if that's a contradiction in terms, it's true. The plotting was obviously dictated by the theme of the entire book, but her characters were true Norton. As for the other stories ... I barely remember them. For any Norton "completest", this book is a must.
