They Need The One With All The Thanksgivings!
I own all of the 10 seasons of "Friends" on DVD, so I can't justify buying the collections, too-- well, not unless it's "The One With All The Thanksgivings" because I play the episodes back to back every year while cooking, and it'd just be easier not to have to constantly switch discs. But I will say that if you never really got into the show while it was on NBC, these...

why buy this when you can get all ten seasons and get every show
i don't understand why anyone would want to buy these sets when you can buy all the seasons for just a little more money!!!!!

I own all of the 10 seasons of "Friends" on DVD, so I can't justify buying the collections, too-- well, not unless it's "The One With All The Thanksgivings" because I play the episodes back to back every year while cooking, and it'd just be easier not to have to constantly switch discs. But I will say that if you never really got into the show while it was on NBC, these collections are a great way to do it because you can sample some of the funniest moments from throughout the years.

In answer to a previous review - some people prefer to buy the 'themed' episodes. People who might not want to spend money on seasons for a show that are on several channels in syndication, can buy their favorite episodes (if that happens to be weddings). For instance - I won't be buying the seasons for Roseanne, since I can see it several times a day, but I am looking forward to the Halloween episodes that are coming out because they were among my favorites. It's a matter of what one wants to spend money on.
