Peace and all good!

I came across this book, Friendship of Christ, way back in 1991, following my first pilgrimage to Medjugorje, Yugoslavia, and loved it. I tried to buy it later for many of my friends, but it was no longer available. When a friend told me to check Amazon.com, I did for the first time and found it was easy and the book was back in print. I was ecstactic! I purchased several copies and have been sharing them with my dearest friends, one who is a Catholic Priest and my Pastor, Fr. Jim. He just popped in my office and thanked me, again, for the book. He loves it, too! It was first published in 1912, and holds the same, simple Truth of the Love and Mercy of God in the Person of Jesus Christ, that Fr. Jim has been preaching during his 25 Years of Holy Priesthood, and in our parish since he came to us in 2002.

You will love this book and may, also, feel moved by the Spirit, like I was, to share it with several beloved friends. It would make a beautiful gift for your Pastor or favorite Priest or Seminarian in this Jubilee Year of the Priesthood!

Benson has some insights into the friendship of Christ, and the importance and necessity of friendship with Christ, that I am sure few Catholics, or any Christians for that matter, have generally considered. We also included some statements from Benedict XVI on the imperative of developing a friendship with Christ.
