This book is a great reminder at the importance of friendships. In my hectic schedule, I find it hard to take time for friends and tend to focus on getting my To Do list done. However, I know my friendships are a priority. How appropriate that the first chapter is about TIME! This gave me some practical solutions and skills to make room in my schedule for friends. I recommend this read! Your friends will thank you for it. :)

This book may well be helpful for Christians, but my attempt to sift the religious views from the practical advice didn't work. Rather than being presented as an alternative philisophy as a part of a larger whole, the Christian veiwpoint is pervasive.

Friendship Interrupted is a reference book, with LOADS of how-to's for every phase of friendship. The first part of the book dives into 6 different friendship challenges & solutions, including Time, Healthy Choices & Obstacles. Each chapter has a narrative, giving real-life examples and illustrations. Most importantly, each chapter also includes practical "what you can do" tips and steps and guidance on when to seek further help.

The next section dives into how to find friends & growing your own relationship with God.

This is a book that will be on my shelf for years to come.
