5.0 out of 5 stars Fright Night book 1984 or 1985 release
The movie came out in the summer of August 1985. I wasn't there to see it b/c I was only 5 years old at the time. However, later on I did in fact see the movie and it became my favorite vampire movie of all time and the scariest, although there are some scary ones out there, but it was my first vampire movie to ever see. 3.0 out of 5 stars strictly by the movie
Don't get me wrong by the 3 star review, it wasn't a bad book or anything and Skipp and Spector are awesome authors, but i think they should have stuck more to their own fiction then doing a tie-in. Pretty much the same as the film, but it's a quick read and it passed the time.

I highly recommend this book, regardless of the cost, b/c once its gone, you will never find it again. The book does go like the movie, but there are some 'extra' tidbits in the book that weren't included in the movie, and upon reading the book, there were more thrills and chills. It is like the movie Fright Night but with 'deleted scenes' in the book which if were added to the movie would make the film last longer. Do not read this book alone at night b/c it is very scary. This book will be highly sought after once all the books are sold out b/c it has been out-of-print and very hard to find. I didn't even know it existed until now. Dandrige is pure evil according to the book and you will find yourself in each of the character's shoes as you read this thrilling novel and see for yourself a 'true' vampire's nature.
