It is well suited for medium to large room applications or rooms where supplemental cooling is needed (Up to 500 Square Feet) It features an EER of 9.4. The Variable Speed Fan and 8-Way Air Direction along with Electronic Controls with Full Function Remote and 24 Hour On / Off Timer makes it very easy to operate. For those with Allergy problems, the Ionizer/Electrostatic Clean Air Filtration ensures a Clean Airflow and with LVC Technology (Low Voltage Compensation), proper operation of the unit is assured when voltage fluctuates below normal levels. Installing the unit is made easy with the available Window Mounting Kit and Filter cleaning is a snap with the Tilt-Out Filter Access Feature. The FAH106R2T is 14 1/2- inches in height, 24-inches in width, and 20 1/2-inches in depth, weighs 84 pounds, and uses 230/208 Volts AC. This unit was purchased to replace a very old thru-the-wall air conditioner and the difference is huge. At a fraction of the power required, it has 50 percent more cooling capacity. It runs quietly and will maintain a constant set temperature. Best of all, it comes with an installation kit which allows the use of almost any existing thru-the-wall casing so you don't have to replace that.
