This product was what we were looking for. We have a room over the garage and it was never cool or warm as the rest of the house so it did not get used very much. This unit was the answer to that problem. It is warm now so we have used the cooling only but it is great so far. It did take my husband, who is very handy, about 4 solid hours to install the unit so you may want to take that into consideration when buying this unit unless you have someone to help you put it in. We also had to have an electrical work done to get a 220 outlet since a normal outlet can not handle the power. We are glad we did it but the project was over 1000 dollars so just be aware of all of the parts you need to operate this unit.

Great Airconditioner,

I've gone through a few units in the last few years with no luck. Finally this unit really is smaller and quieter than some of the other units in the same range, and also really cools down the rooms (its a long double dining/living room setup).be aware that the plug is both oversized and 30 amp...needed an electrician to install a new plug for me....still was cheaper than taking it local (plus free shipping)
