I could be wrong, but I think this thing is only for show. The flippers who sold us our house put it in. It certainly acts like it's washing dishes -- fills with water, sloshes it around, drains it out. And the facade is oh-so-stainless, just like people seem to want these days. It would be nice if it actually washed dishes though.

If you're reading this, it's not because you're thinking of buying one. It's because you're curious as to what other people thought of this useless thing that came with your home. There's no way they sell these to actual customers. It's in that special part of the store labeled "crap that you can put in that house you're selling so that people will be excited they're getting new appliances, even though they'd be better off with nothing at all."

As for being efficient, yes, it uses no energy and water at all, because you've given up on trying to use it at all. Unfortunately, washing dishes by hand uses a shedload of water.

If you're looking to sell a house and want to put something slightly shiny in it, and you are a horrible person, then I recommend this product for you.

This product is awful. It is called a dishwasher, but it does not wash dishes. It came with my house, and after 2 months, DISHWASHER was my job title, not this useless box's job title. I use it as an auto-draining dish rack to air dry my dishes after *I* wash them. Or after my girlfriend washes them - also washing dishes makes her angry.
