We bought an entire suite of Frigidaire Professional products (range, microwave, dishwasher and fridge) to complete our kitchen remodel about a year and a half ago. We immediately had problems with the dishwasher (which I'll be reviewing as well).

Last week the microwave made a clunking noise and then the food stopped getting warm. (Everything else like the light, fan, timer worked, but what good is a microwave if it can't warm food?)

We quickly learned that the magneto (the MOST EXPENSIVE part on the microwave) had failed and that after parts and labor it would be less expensive to buy a new microwave.

Given that we had spent a mint on their top-of-the-line-series products, we thought we'd give customer service a call and see if Frigidaire would extend a loyalty discount/coupon for us to purchase the same item. (Even knowing that with our luck the product would perform no better than any other Frigidaire appliance we'd purchased.)

While customer service was friendly, Frigidaire refused to do anything to help us with the situation.

Save yourself some money and DO NOT buy this or any other Frigidaire product. And do not be fooled into thinking a "Professional" badge makes this product any better or any more reliable.
