5.0 out of 5 stars Informative and insightful on how to raise a frisbee dog.
Bloeme has put together a great book for the beginner and expert alike. He provides insights on ways to teach your dog to play frisbee and perform tricks. He also uses many personal examples from his experiences which help bring things into focus. If your looking to teach your dog frisbee just for fun or perhaps to compete this is a good place to start.

2.0 out of 5 stars very outdated and didn't help me
the book is from the 70's and the images and text show it. the images are barely visible because the print quality is so low.

it had only one chapter that was useful to me. overall, i would not recommend it. what i want is a book like this one: 101 Dog Tricks: Step by Step Activities to Engage, Challenge, and Bond with Your Dog but for frisbees...

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for getting started!, October 9, 2000
This review is from: Frisbee Dogs: How to Raise, Train and Compete (Paperback)
We really enjoyed this book as we taught our lab how to catch and return a frisbee. The book is fairly concise and has quite a few practical tips to encourage your dog to perform the tricks. The author uses some entertaining examples to illustrate his points. We found it to be a great introduction to learning to play frisbee with our dog.

This is an excellent book! Unfortunatly it's out of print but the video is excellent as well and more easily available. Skyhoundz has it.
