The key is to put a small amount in your palm and rub into palms before smoothing hands through the bottom half of your hair. Once I've rubbed most of the product through the bottom half of my hair, I will run my fingers through the top half. You really only need a small trace on the top in order to avoid heaviness. I have fine medium-length hair that I had large waves permed into about 5 months ago. The perm is fading, which is resulting in flyaway frizz so I decided to try this product. This brings luster back to my curls!! Amazon sells this for a bit cheaper than my local drug store. This creme also smells great! I find that a dab about the size of a limabean works really well. This creme reminds me of hair wax that some people use to add shine & hold to their hair so you can imagine that A SMALL AMOUNT is really the key. A larger amount will probably leave your hair heavy & greasy. The product seems to last about half way through the day before I'll need to apply another small pea-size dab.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! I have very long, thick, curly hair. Frizzy hair is a part of my daily life. No matter how I style my hair, whether if I'm curling it with an iron or just scrunching it, this is my go-to product. Reminder - it is a finishing creme, its not like other products. As the instructions say, you put the product in after your done styling so make sure your hair is completely dry. All you need is "just a dab" in order to hide your split ends, flyaways, even "halo" frizz and the product works all night! Don't worry, you can still use other products you usually put in your hair.

I'm not a huge "product" user when it comes to my hair, typically I get my best results from limiting my shampoo use to once or twice a week and allowing my hair's natural oils to do their thing. However, on the days that I do shampoo my hair I like to put something in my hair to keep it from getting too poofy until my natural oils come back into balance.

To that end, I've used this Frieda product for about the past 10 years, and it's always worked marvelously. Just a tiny little bit would always keep my hair nice and smooth and extremely manageable, and since I only used it once or twice a week, a tube would last me a LONG time. In fact, my last tube of this stuff probably lasted me about 2 years, if you can believe that.

Well, a lot's changed since the last time I bought this so-called Secret Weapon, and it's not just the packaging. It used to leave my hair with a nice thick base of moisture, now if anything it seems to dry it out even more than if I'd just left it alone. It used It used to have a really mild (almost non existent) odor that would fade away within seconds. That's been replaced by a VERY strong perfume-ey/aqua-net-ish kind of smell, sort of like what you'd expect to experience upon walking into a Dallas-area Great Clips. And the smell doesn't fade either - I put this stuff in a full two hours ago and I can STILL smell it on my hands (mind you, I'm really sensitive to smells, but this is strong even by cheap hairspray standards). It's not... good, anymore. And I'm disappointed; this WAS a really great product.
