Froger is AMAZING!,
By Frogger Fan (Fremont) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Frogger (CD-ROM)
I bought Frogger for my daughter thinking that, given the price, it would be just an update of the old cross-the-street-cross-the-river game of my youth. But this is so much better. There are five different games that you can compete on - and up to four people can compete at one time (though it is difficult to fit four at once). But the best part are the games for individuals. There are ten different "worlds" and each world has up to five levels. Furthermore, not all worlds or levels are available to play on in the beginning. You have to win a level to move on to the next, and after you win a few levels, new worlds open up. You do everything from avoiding getting trampled by buffalo to flying on the backs of ducks. Some games are based on speed only, while others depend on how well you can move out of the way. Plus, this is one game that you don't have to worry about blood and gore. It is harmless, but incredibly exciting.

Just like the original, but still fun,

Frogger has the exact same gameplay as the original. The only thing different about it is the graphics, the sound, and it has more levels. It is basically an updated version of the original. The graphics are pretty good. Everything in the game is colorful. The only thing that looks weird is when you look at the front of Frogger's face. It looks kind of messed up because he is made of polygons. The sound is pretty good as well. Except the buzzing of the flies that frogger can eat. That is a little bit annoying. That is why you want to eat them as fast as you can. The controls of the game are pretty simple and easy to handle. Its all on the arrow keys. Overall I think this game is a classic, and is fun to play. I recommend it.

Bringing GREAT SOFTWARE back,

This game is 5-star ASAP! With it's cool 3D graphics. You you played frogger in the past with the artari version. Try the retro level. The other 8 zones are fun-packed wacky ribbity action! Though a lawnmower cutting up him and jumping into brair bushes. I recomened this game to anyone that likes quality. The second one isn't as good though...

Frogger is what I call "Fun, but rediculous". This pretty much sums up games like "The Simpsons Hit & Run" and "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie". What I mean is "Fun, butr rediculously difficult". Frogger isn't TOO hard, but it is a little difficult. Like in the Cactus zone. There's a level called "Big Boulder Ally". Rediculously difficult. How are you supposed to tell. I definately prefer the PC version over the PS version, but still... some of the funnest levels are the ones that take place in the clouds, like "Air-Show Antics". But some are also extremely unnesecary, like "Time Flies" and "Frogger Goes Skiing".
Levels, in-and-of-themselves, are very well done and a lot of fun. I really love "Tumbleweed Ally" and "Bow-Wow Revenge". There aren't a large range of levels, but I like this one better the Frogger 2, which went from too difficult to too easy. But, either way, I recommend getting this game on PC. PS is a liveable experience, but it isn't as good. They shortened the time down and you start with less lives. Possibly because one version was released before the other, like the PC version first, or something like that. I recommend this and Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge. Both are astounding. Especially the endings. You really should see the credits, folks. They put something in there to actually make credits cool.

You play this on modern machines, you will regret it!,
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars

If you are going to buy this game and you have a new machine, don't! I tried this game on my newest machine, and the graphics look very bad on a modern 3D graphics card, because, the card is not compatible with the game. If you want this game so bad, look all over your house for a Pentium 2 machine with an outdated 3D graphics card, or buy an old machine that comes with the 3D graphics card.

If you like fighting games, this is not a game for you. This game is peacful and if you like peacful stuff then this is a fun and a good game for you!Only two people can play this game at a time. This is what the game is about. You are a frog and you have to go through lots of things and not get hit. When you reach the end, there are flags. You have to get a flag. Then you have to go back and get another one and another one before the other player gets three flags, but if the other player gets three flags before you do they win.On the other hand if you get three flags before the other player does, then you win. This game is really fun and cool. That's why I'm recomending you to play this game. This is an excellent game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game was great. It was A LOT better than the original. The graphics could be a little better, but other than that, it's really fun to play and easy to control.

Frogger,
This review is from: Frogger (CD-ROM)
In the arcade game, you cross the street to get home. In this new version, you collect baby frogs to save the population. There are many new obstacles, and some fun parts here and there, but getting all of the baby frogs at once I think is too much to ask. For one thing, you're timed. That makes it nearly impossible to do anything but the quickest way. The music is okay, but the gameplay is choppy, the graphics are like enlarged pixels, and you have to play the levels over and over to know what to do. In short, it's a waste of time that can get way too addicting, even with the quality. I don't see why you need to save the population 225 baby frogs left, and there are many farfetched ideas of bad guys. It also crashes my system, and my friends', too. I'm glad this game isn't mine.

Frogger is a great simple multiplayer game. But th single player games are really crappy. The levels are too easy to beat. The graphics lack a smoothness to them but other than that they are O.K.
