Kindergarten-Grade 3–It's Father's Day, and the endearing young amphibian is looking forward to a special time with his dad. After a less than perfect breakfast, the two go to the park to enjoy in recreational activities such as miniature golf and bumper boats. Even though, in typical Froggy style, not everything goes smoothly–there are a few accidents and lots of plodding and flopping–in the end the day is a happy one for both of them. As in Froggy's previous adventures, the simple, energetic illustrations match the pleasantly ordinary and sentimental tenor of the text. This latest day in the life of Froggy is sure to elicit chuckles from readers and will be a welcome addition to any collection needing appealing stories about father-child relationships.–Holly T. Seriously...the lady at the grocery store recommend this book for our toddler and I can't tell you how much he seems to like it. It's nice to get a chance to read a children's book that doesn't insult children's intelligences.

I had never heard of the "Froggy" books before until one day I was at a book fair at school. I read through the book and new it was something my (at the time 3 year old) would enjoy. He likes frogs and being with his daddy. It turns out his teacher read it to him, so he knew about the book. I purchased the book and wrapped it up so the "school santa" could give it to him. He was so excited he cried when he opened it,however...in the excitement of the last day of school before Christmas, his book was stolen and no one seemed to know who had it. My son cried for 2 days. I went on line to Amazon, found the book, and had it wrapped and under the tree with a note from Santa. My little boy was so excited he could have cared less about anything else. Thanks to the writers of the book for making a great series (there are more Froggy books available) and Amazon for getting it to my home the day before Christmas!

This is a great book and I got it for my son and husband to read on fathers day.
Some Froggy books can be a little annoying, but this one is just cute.
