The book has water damage. The condition of this book should have been stated as "poor."

This book are 12 stories. A part can be drawn on blackboard (7). I'm found of "the ghost on Pedersen's farm", a story about ghosts! Before each story the author has drawn the drawing completely, showing with arrows the meaning of each part of final drawing. You will find in this book a story under the sign of st Valentine ("Claudette's valentines"), a story about mutual aid ("Tiki and Buko"), a story about special gift ("Willy's gift"),the story of the trees mysteriously cut ("Tree mites"), the story of mysterious numeral ("The locked box"), a story that like a famous story of Grimm ("Frog's riddle"), a story about a fall of teeth ("Hank and the tooth fairy")and also a story about a pizza delivery man ("The pizza pedaller"). The others storied are:"The horn players", "the Castaways" and "The wanderer". At the end of each story the author give the name of books related to the story. He explained how better tell and which activities to suggest to the kids after reading. A very good book indeed!

This is awonderful book for story time or just circle sharing.
The concept is to have a large peice of blank paper preferbly on some sort of stand or on the wall. Start reading the story. As the story
progresses your moving a marker or thick pen along the paper. While telling the story follow the directions and move the marker along. Your making a simple drawing. Untill the last Supensful moment of the story though, your audience doesn't know what your drawing. A Clue: It will be the secret to the story!

Ce livre contient 12 histoires. Un partie peut être dessinée sur un tableau noir (7). Mon histoire préférée s'appelle "the ghost on Pedersen's farm", une histoire de fantômes! Avant chaque histoire, l'auteur a dessiné le dessin entièrement, en montrant à l'aide de flèches la signification, de chacune des parties du dessin final. Génial, non? Les histoires sont très différentes les unes des autres. Vous trouverez dans ce livre une histoire sous le signe de la st Valentin ("Claudette's valentines"), une histoire d'entraide mutuelle ("Tiki and Buko"), l'histoire d'un cadeau très spécial ("Willy's gift"), l'histoire d'arbres mystérieusement coupés ("Tree mites"), l'histoire du chiffre mystérieux ("The locked box"), une histoire qui ressemble beaucoup à une histoire connue de Grimm ("Frog's riddle"), une histoire de dent tombée ("Hank and the tooth fairy")et aussi une histoire sur un pauvre livreur de pizzas ("The pizza pedaller"). Les autres histoires s'appellent:"The horn players", "the Castaways" et "The wanderer". A la fin de chaque histoire l'auteur donne le nom d'un ou deux livres se rapportant à l'histoire, il explique comment mieux raconter, quelles activitées proposer aux enfants après la lecture... Un très bon livre!
