I checked out a copy of Frogs and Toads and Tadpoles, Too at our local library. My daughter is 2 and I was afraid at first that it wouldn't keep her attention. The explainations were intelligent but, not beyond her comprehension. It was perfect. It prompted us to go out on my Mom's property and get her a tadpole so that she can see the whole process first hand. She wants me to read it over and over. I am so pleased that from now on we will be checking out more of Allan Fowler's Rookie Read-About Science books.
